Please read the food safety section. Fairhand plans around the allergies you enter, but it cannot know how the food you buy was made or handled. Always read labels.
Who we are
Fairhand is provided by Rojo Volcan LLC ("we"). By using the app you agree to these terms.
Food safety and allergies
Fairhand excludes recipes containing allergens you record for members of your household, including allergens present in optional ingredients. We take this seriously and test it continuously.
However, Fairhand plans meals from recipes — it does not inspect the food in your kitchen. It cannot know:
- how a specific product was manufactured, including shared equipment and "may contain" cross-contact;
- that a brand has changed its formulation;
- what you substitute, add, or serve alongside a meal;
- whether an allergy was entered correctly or completely.
You must read the labels on the food you buy and use your own judgement. Fairhand is not medical advice and is not a substitute for guidance from a doctor or dietitian. If someone in your household has a severe allergy, treat Fairhand as a planning aid only, and keep doing whatever your medical advice tells you to do.
Nutrition figures, where shown, are estimates cross-checked against USDA FoodData Central and will vary with brands, portions and preparation.
Subscriptions
- The first week Fairhand plans for you remains available at no cost.
- Fairhand Plus is offered monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- The yearly plan may include a free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. We send a notification the day before.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions, or from Settings inside Fairhand.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Family Sharing is enabled: one subscription covers your household.
Recipe content
Recipes in Fairhand are written and reviewed by us and are provided for your personal, household use. Please don't republish or redistribute them.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to break, reverse engineer, or resell the app, and don't use it to do anything unlawful.
Availability and changes
We may update the app and add or change features. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we'll say so in the app. Continuing to use Fairhand after that means you accept the updated terms.
Liability
Fairhand is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
