Fairhand

Privacy Policy

Last updated: DRAFT — not yet published. Replace this line with the publication date.

The short version: Fairhand has no accounts and no servers of ours. What you enter about your household stays on your device and, if you use household sharing, in your own iCloud. We can't see it.

What Fairhand stores

To plan dinners, Fairhand keeps on your device: the people in your household and the names you give them, their diets, dislikes and allergies, your weeknight time and budget settings, your plans, your grocery check-offs, and which recipes you've marked "more like this" or "never again".

Allergy and diet information can be considered health-related. It is used for one purpose — deciding which dinners can be planned — and it is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Where it goes

What we don't do

Permissions we ask for, and when

You can decline either one and keep using everything else.

Children

Fairhand is designed for the person who plans a household's meals — an adult. You may record children as members of your household (a name and their dietary needs). That information is treated exactly like everyone else's: stored on your device, never transmitted to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children directly.

Your rights

Because your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, you control it directly: edit or delete any household member in the app, or delete the app to remove everything. There is no account for us to close and no copy for us to return, because we never received one. If you have a question about this, email privacy@fairhandapp.com.

Changes

If we add anything that changes this — for example a service that needs a server — we'll update this page and say so in the app before it takes effect.
